Srini joined the Ananda Vikatan Group, in August, 1990, a 3rd generation owner-entrepreneur. Srini spearheaded Vikatan's diversification to magazines in multiple genres, expanding into the internet publishing space in 1997, before going pay in 2005. 26 years on, today, he oversees a diversified Media house with 12 magazine titles in Tamil boasting of a combined annual sale of over 40 million magazines, half a million books, over a 170 million monthly PV's from 6.5 million monthly uniques on the web, 70 million video views a month and interacting with over 10 million followers on social. It is his vision that Ananda Vikatan transforms into a digital-first, mobile-first, video-first content company delivering agile products on customer demand.

Headquartered in Chennai, in Southern India, its flagship weekly Ananda Vikatan, is known for its humor and political satire, and is widely read and respected by Tamil audiences worldwide. Tamil is a 2300 years old yet contemporary language spoken by over 70 million people today.

In 1998, the group ventured into TV daily-soap production which expanded into multiple language projects, building up a library of over 5000 hours of content. Almost all content is available on multiple digital platforms today.
