Biography

Sara started working as a digital journalist at ALT.dk in September 2016 and became digital lifestyle editor in November 2017. Here, she manages a small team of journalists and is responsible for driving traffic and ensuring continued growth of ALT.dk, which is currently the largest women’s website in Denmark. Some of her top priorities include: telling stories in new innovative ways online, improving knowledge of target audiences, ensuring the smooth transition of eight print titles to one digital platform and exploring new ways of monetizing content without compromising journalistic integrity and the core values of ALT.dk and Egmont Publishing, which is bringing stories to life. Previously, she has lived in New York City and studied Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism at The New School for Social Research in order to better understand and reflect on new challenges and opportunities in journalism and the publishing industry in general.

Apart from this, we are a smaller team of journalists who create original content for ALT.dk.
