New EU Regulation for Online Payments
As of 14 September 2019, new requirements for authenticating online payments have been introduced in Europe as part of the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2). To abide by the mandatory EU regulation, we have implemented the 3D Secure protocol for our DIS booking process. If the security system is activated for your card, a 3D Secure window will open at the end of your booking. Your bank will ask you to verify your identity by entering an authentication code.
This regulation only applies to bookings made with EU credit cards. If you are booking your tickets with a non-EU card or you already have a 3D Secure password (aka “Visa Secure” or “MasterCard Identity Check”), please continue to the registration form as usual. If you are in the EU and do not yet have a 3D Secure password, please contact us directly: Anja Mumm, email: a.mumm[at]vdz.de.
- Payment may be made exclusively by credit card: MasterCard or VISA.

No refunds will be given after 14 February 2020 under any circumstances. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted. If a registration form is received (by fax or email) without payment, and subsequently cancelled, you will be invoiced for the appropriate amount. In case of later cancellation, no refunds will be made, under any circumstances.
